The Society for Modeling & Simulation International (SCS) was established in 1952. SCS is a technical society dedicated to advancing methods of modeling & simulation and their use to solve real-world problems. The Society is committed to facilitating communication among professionals in the field of simulation internationally.
Adelinde M. Uhrmacher is the first female SCS fellow.
