The Institute for Visual and Analytic Computing is organizing a research colloquium on robust machine learning methods. We are happy to welcome Dr. Christian Bartelt, Sascha Marton, Jannik Brinkmann and Andrej Tschalzev (AI Systems Engineering group, University of Mannheim) as invited guests. They are working on machine learning for tabular data as well as mechanistic interpretability of large language models.
Discussion sessions will cover the topics
- reasoning capabilities of large language models
- differentiable agent-based simulation models
- machine learning for tabular data
The colloquium will strengthen existing collaborations between the research groups at VAC and the University of Mannheim.
A pitch talk session is planned on 05. April at 9:00 in room 209, Konrad-Zuse-Haus. If you are interested in participating, please write an email to
