On January 4, 2024, Kevin Haase successfully defended his PhD on "Agent-based modelling to investigate angler behaviour in relation to management decisions and stock development".
The reviewers were Prof. Christian Skov (Technical University of Denmark, National Institute of Aquatic Resources), Dr. Harry Vincent Strehlow (Thünen-Institute of Baltic Sea Fisheries), and Prof. Adelinde M. Uhrmacher (University of Rostock).
At its meeting, the Faculty Council decided to award a doctorate.
